Founders and Series Directors Tara and Brad Melville have over 12 years experience in creating, organizing and managing sporting events. Past Race Directors of the Mississauga Marathon and Mississauga Kids Triathlon, we have also held key positions with organizations such as Canada Running Series and the MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series, creating world class events. As passionate athletes in running and triathlon we know the personal satisfaction that comes with completing an event.
We are also the Series Directors for the MultiSport Canada Running Series, a newly expanded series that offers adult running races in great locations. With our Island Girl Toronto 10K and Island Girl Toronto Half Marathon and 5K on Toronto Island we have created unique races to support the growing number of female runners. "My 2 sons took part in the Oakville Triathlon today and they enjoyed it immensely. The organization was just extra-ordinary and it was an absolute "honour" to be able to experience such a wonderful event. We cannot express enough just how great the day was. The venue was indeed second to none, but without doubt, the highlight was the absolute effortless manner in which the day progressed. The extra-ordinary manner in which all that were involved carried out their duties was wonderful to observe. The thought that went into the preparation and planning was evident all around us. " Congratulations on a fabulous event! My daughter participated in the 3-5 year old category and loved it, especially all of the volunteers cheering her on. She spent the entire race grinning from ear to ear. She almost fell off her bike a few times because she was so focussed on beaming at the volunteers cheering for her along the route. Last night at bed time she asked me to sign her up for next year.
